Gran Vista Tsunoshima

Located near the historic Tsunoshima Lighthouse, a designated National Important Cultural Property, Gran Vista Tsunoshima is a seaside restaurant where guests can enjoy exquisite meals while taking in stunning ocean views. The terrace, in particular, is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets over the sea.

The menu is extensive, featuring a wide range of dishes-from Yamaguchi’s famous kawara soba and seafood steamed in cans (gangan-yaki) to kaisendon (seafood bowls), crab pasta, and abalone risotto. A must-try is the “Deluxe Seafood Bowl,” a luxurious dish topped with 13 carefully selected ingredients, including medium fatty tuna, sea bream, salmon, horse mackerel, tuna, amberjack, flounder, squid, sea urchin, salmon roe, whitebait, negitoro, and crab flakes. Guests can also choose from three types of soy sauce-special house blend, sesame soy, or sea urchin soy-for a tailored flavor experience.

In 2020, the restaurant expanded to include a lodging facility, offering rooms with panoramic ocean views. Each room is equipped with a kitchen and cooking utensils, allowing guests to prepare freshly purchased local seafood from nearby roadside markets. As the sound of the waves provides a natural soundtrack, visitors can unwind and savor a tranquil coastal retreat.
