Tomoiki no Kuni Ise Ninja Kingdom
Try ninja experiences in the castle town of Azuchi Castle!
This theme park lets you experience Japanese history and culture, with a life-size reproduction of Azuchi Castle’s main keep as its symbol. Admission-only tickets are available, but we recommend buying the pass that lets you enjoy a variety of attractions with a single ticket. Start by renting a kimono or ninja costume, then enjoy a full day with a time-travel vibe.
Inside the park, you’ll find a lineup of attractions that let you feel like a ninja, including a shuriken dojo, archery experiences, a “Real RPG” where you take on ninja training, and “Ninja Forest Adventure,” an authentic tree trekking course with heights from 3 to 33 ft. Scattered throughout are several Japanese gardens, and the space where ninjas come and go makes you feel like you’re walking through a real castle town.
After you’ve played to your heart’s content, unwind in the baths, including a high-concentration bicarbonate ion spring and a peat carbon bath. Be sure to stop by the restaurants serving dishes made with local specialties, from Ise-Shima seafood to Kumano jidori chicken and Matsusaka beef.
