Aratashi

A hot spring ryokan in Minakami Onsen, one of the “Minakami 18 Hot Springs” that make up the Minakami Onsen area. Located at the foot of Mt. Tanigawa, one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, it’s known as one of Gunma’s signature hot springs. The name reflects the idea of “new + experiences (hospitality),” and the refined service creates a truly exceptional stay.

The colorless, odorless alkaline simple spring water is known for its gentle feel and is said to help leave skin looking smooth. The large public bath includes an indoor bath with two tubs, plus an open-air bath where you can soak while listening to the Tone River. At night, enjoy bathing under a sky full of stars.
