Supervised by :  Hotel New Grand Co., Ltd.

A cafe restaurant on the 1st floor of Yokohama’s iconic Hotel New Grand. It serves yoshoku (Japanese Western-style cuisine) and menus inspired by classic French dishes. It’s especially known for three dishes that originated at the hotel: “Seafood Doria,” “Spaghetti Napolitan,” and “Pudding à la Mode.”

“Seafood Doria” is baked rice topped with plenty of seafood, a sauce packed with seafood umami, and a smooth gratin sauce. “Spaghetti Napolitan” was inspired by meals eaten by U.S. soldiers after WWII, with a flavor that brings out the natural sweetness and tang of tomatoes. “Pudding à la Mode” is a gorgeous dessert, with fruit adding color to its rich custard pudding.

Course meals based on recipes passed down from past head chefs are also available. For lunch, the playful “Adult Kids’ Lunch” is a favorite, while at dinner, a great-value set menu (weekdays only) lets you choose from seven main dishes.

There’s also a wide selection of sweets, perfect for cafe time. It works well for many different occasions.
