Harbor View Park
A Park Famous for Roses, Overlooking the Beautiful Night View of the Port of Yokohama
Harbor View Park is located on a small hill overlooking the Port of Yokohama. When the port first opened, the area was used as a foreign settlement with the British army stationed on the hill and the French army at the bottom, so the area features locations like the “French Mountain” and “British House.”
The park is also famous for its roses, and the English Rose Garden and Garden of Fragrances both feature a variety of seasonal roses and blooming flowers.
From on top of the observation deck you can look out over a panoramic view of the sea, as the park’s name “Harbor View Park” would suggest. One of the true highlights is the beautiful view of the Yokohama Bay Bridge at night
Beautiful night view over the Yokohama Bay Bridge and lit up port.
Enjoy roses and other flowers at the English Rose Garden and Garden of Fragrances.
Roses are at their peak mid-May through mid-June, then mid-October through mid-November.
