Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy exquisite meals surrounded by the rich natural beauty of the countryside. This traditional inn not only offers overnight stays but also day-trip lunch and dinner plans—perfect for those who simply wish to savor its carefully crafted cuisine.

In spring, the menu features mountain vegetables and amago (red-spotted trout) caught in the nearby Takami River. From June to September, guests can indulge in a full-course Ayu Kaiseki, showcasing wild sweetfish served as sashimi, salt-grilled, and tempura. In October and early November, dishes featuring wild matsutake mushrooms from Yoshino make their appearance. From late October through early May, the inn serves botan nabe (wild boar hot pot) and shabu-shabu made with tender female boar meat. Even the rice and tea are prepared with gently heated spring water sourced from the Takami River, offering a mild and refreshing taste that only natural water can provide.

From April to November, the open-air riverside dining area Kahan Aburiyaki-tei is open, where guests can enjoy grilled local vegetables, mushrooms, and premium Yamato beef while listening to the murmuring stream and feeling the breeze through the bamboo grove.

Guests staying overnight can relax in rooms overlooking the Takami River and unwind in baths filled with natural spring water drawn from its banks—an ideal way to experience tranquility and luxury in harmony with nature.
