Last update :

In the winter season, visitors can experience some of Japan’s finest powder snow at one of the country’s largest ski resorts.
With 10 ski courses to choose from—including “Kane-no-Naru-Oka Slope,” known for its wide, gentle incline, and “Uma-no-Se (house back) Course,” which features a steep 32-degree slope with continuous moguls—everyone from beginners to advanced skiers can find a course to suit their level. The longest course extends up to 5,000 meters.
In addition to the ski slopes, facilities such as “SNOW WOW!”, an adventure park where parents and children can play in the snow, and “Tsugaike Yokocho,” where visitors can enjoy local gourmet food and relax in footbaths.
Another must-see is the “Tsugaike Snow Wall,” located around 1,500 meters above sea level. This scenic spot, carved through snow-covered mountains, is divided into two paths: the “Wall Course,” lined with snow walls as high as 3 meters, and the “Forest Course,” where snow-covered trees stand alongside towering snow walls.

In the green season, the resort offers a variety of activities that showcase the breathtaking views of the Northern Alps.
These include the “Tsugaike Gondola Lift Eve” and the “Tsugaike Ropeway,” which offer aerial views; hiking through the high-elevation wetlands of “Tsugaike Nature Park,” where many types of alpine flora bloom; and the new adventure zone “Hakuba Tsugaike WOW!” where visitors can enjoy thrilling outdoor activities.
