Osaka Great Sky Art Fireworks
Musical fireworks display in the skies over Osaka Bay.
The fireworks event is held at Rinku Park, located across from Kansai International Airport. First launched in 2022 as "Osaka Bay Rinku Art Fireworks," the event was renamed "Osaka Great Sky Art Fireworks" in 2024.
Make your way over and savor the stunning sunset, a sight so beautiful it even sits on the list of Japan’s top 100 sunset views. As the day melts into evening, fireworks will start to splash against the night sky. Fireworks are launched from floating platforms in Osaka Bay, making for an unobstructed, straight-shot of impeccable views. The show draws top-tier pyrotechnicians from around Japan in a showcase of pure skill, launching dazzling shells and star-mines continuously for about 50 minutes.
A notable feature of this event is that the fireworks are meticulously synchronized with music, including rhythms, melodies, and lyrics, precisely timed by computers down to one-thirtieth of a second.
Food booths are available at the venue. All seating is reserved and ticketed, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience.
