A soothing inn where scenic valley views and fine cuisine come together.

Last update :

A Japanese-style ryokan set along the quiet valley of Settsukyo. It enjoys a prime location where you can experience seasonal beauty up close, from cherry blossoms in spring and fireflies in early summer to stunning autumn leaves, yet it is also just 40 minutes from central Osaka and Kyoto.

The interior features refined Japanese design, creating a calm atmosphere wrapped in silence and warmth. There are 24 guest rooms, ranging from special rooms with open-air baths and spectacular valley views to spacious traditional Japanese-style rooms, offering options for a wide range of needs.

Meals can be enjoyed at the Japanese restaurant "Open Kitchen Dining Yamauta UTA." Creative kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients carefully selected by the head chef is available. The signature dish, "Pheasant Hot Pot," is especially popular as delicious cuisine that is gentle on the body.

All baths are arranged on the valley side. The large rock-view bath, designed around a natural rock 8 meters high, is truly impressive. The open-air bath overlooking the valley is also close to the river and offers a wonderful sense of openness. A relaxing soak will ease away the fatigue of everyday life. Day-use plans with hot springs and meals are also available, making it easy to enjoy a truly relaxing time.
