Yutomori Club
An all-inclusive forest hot spring resort where you can spend time as if living in the woods.
Set in a quiet forest within Zao Quasi-National Park, which stretches across Miyagi and Yamagata prefectures, this soothing hot spring resort is designed for adults. The concept is to spend time as if you were living in the forest, and all accommodation plans are all-inclusive. Meals, drinks, and a variety of activities during your stay are all included in the room rate.
The hot springs, which can be enjoyed in four private open-air baths and a large public bath, are fed by two abundant private hot spring sources pumped up on the property. You can soak in the high-quality waters of Togatta Onsen, which boasts a history of over 400 years, at facilities including Kawa no Yu, an open-air bath with a mountain stream flowing right in front of it, a sauna, and a large bath with an open-air bath. Guest rooms are available in the Sakura Wing, with views of the ridgelines at the foot of Mt. Zao, or the Komorebi Detached Wing, gently scented with wood.
Meals are served as free-order dishes centered on Zao-grown vegetables. At the open-kitchen counter, the chef cooks each order right in front of you after it is placed. You can also enjoy as much alcohol, including draft beer and wine, as you like, along with house-made gelato and desserts. Activities include morning yoga, forest bathing in a hammock, rental bicycles, and live performances by the fireplace.
