Supervised by :  新潟県立植物園

A botanical garden filled with nature and learning, featuring over 100,000 plants across an Approx. 20-hectare site. At the center of the garden stands a massive dome-shaped greenhouse, 30 m tall and 42 m in diameter, displaying Approx. 4,000 tropical plants from 550 species. With rocky mountains and waterfalls inspired by the Guiana Highlands of South America, giant-leafed Victoria water lilies, and endangered subtropical flowers, the garden offers exotic scenery and an immersive atmosphere that feels like stepping into a jungle.

The Flower and Green Stage in the greenhouse regularly hosts special exhibitions, with seasonal themes such as azaleas, carnivorous plants, and Christmas displays. There is also the hands-on family area called "Oyako Botanical Garden," where visitors can look, touch, and experience, making it enjoyable even on rainy days or in winter.

The outdoor garden area is free to enter. A leisurely walk through the grounds, where over 100,000 plants are grown, leads you into a peaceful space far removed from everyday life. In spring, rhododendrons and cherry blossoms color the garden, in summer beautiful deep green leaves fill the grounds, in fall the space is transformed by atmospheric autumn foliage, and in winter a silver-white world spreads out before you.

As you experience the changing plants of the four seasons, you can enjoy an extraordinary atmosphere in the greenhouse and fully appreciate Japan's natural beauty, the four seasons, outdoors.
