“Sky Shuttle” Gondola at Yomiuriland

The Yomiuriland Gondola “Sky Shuttle” is an aerial lift that connects Keio Yomiuriland Station with the Yomiuriland amusement park in western Tokyo. The total 882-meter stretch takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

Trivia-fans will love knowing that this truly rare ropeway is the only conventional ropeway in Tokyo, and with stops between Inagi City in Tokyo to Kawasaki in Kanagawa, the trip is marked as the only ropeway in all of Japan that crosses a prefectural border.
