Rest House Usagitei

Located in the heart of Motosaru Coast, Rest House Usagitei is a local restaurant serving dishes made with fresh seafood caught in the waters off Kamae. It also takes part in community-based initiatives as a participating restaurant in events such as the Higashi Kyushu Ise-ebi Kaido / Ise-ebi Festival.

The menu is wide-ranging, featuring seafood, meat dishes, and Western-style options. Particularly popular are the Seafood Rice Bowl Set and the Ryukyu Don Set, both showcasing the freshness of the local catch. There is also a diverse selection of à la carte items, including miso-seasoned offal, toriten (chicken tempura), and tataki-style local chicken. On weekdays except Sundays, a daily lunch special is also available. The restaurant is also known for its spiny lobster dishes, which are offered by advance reservation.
