Absolutely majestic and impressive—definitely worthy of being a World Heritage Site.

This is Japan's most famous and largest Buddhist temple. It's a must-see spot when visiting Nara, and the Nara deer in the park are also a big highlight.

An incredible wooden structure—truly awe-inspiring.

The main hall, built entirely of wood, has been damaged many times by fires and earthquakes. There's a big wooden pillar in the back with a hole at the base—people line up to crawl through it. It's said that if you make it through, you'll get rid of bad luck and receive good fortune! 👍

The Great Buddha statue is absolutely massive. You can really take your time admiring it.

Behind the main hall, there are lots of pictures and architectural models. They really help you understand the whole Todaiji area better.

This is a historic temple with a serene and elegant atmosphere.

There's a small square hole under a wooden pillar behind the Great Buddha Hall. They say it's the same size as the Buddha's nostril, and if you crawl through it, you'll get the Bodhisattva's blessing and good luck.

The Great Buddha inside the hall looks so dignified, and the building itself is impressive. It's definitely worth buying a ticket to check it out.

The Great Buddha came first, and then they built the world's largest wooden building, the Daibutsuden. It's been standing for over 1,300 years.
