If you walk from Kiyomizu-dera along Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka to Kodaiji, you can keep going and visit Yasaka Shrine and Chion-in as well.

The main hall is filled with all kinds of antique music boxes and automatic performances. You can enjoy both the music and the amazing view of Mt. Fuji.

You have to change your shoes before entering the temple. The main deities here are Kannon and Yakushi Buddha. The temple looks like it's floating on the water—no wonder it's considered one of the Eight Views of Omi.
