  • Locals love coming here too, so it's super crowded on weekends. I recommend visiting on a weekday if you want to avoid the crowds.

  • The snow here is super fine and fluffy, which makes skiing really smooth. There are slopes for all levels, so whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll have a great time. There are also hot springs and great food, so you can enjoy a relaxing ski vacation. No wonder it's such a popular ski spot in Hokkaido.

Lake Yamanaka is such a charming spot. The beautiful lake, the stunning mountain scenery, and the peaceful atmosphere really left a strong impression on me.
