    It's not super big, but it's really well preserved and has a strong sense of history.

  • There are so many facilities here! If you just want to relax at the hotel, you can soak your feet in the foot bath on the first floor. The view of the ocean and sky is stunning, and it's the perfect place to unwind.

  • There aren't many of the all-transparent cabins on the Tempozan Ferris wheel, so if you want one with clear seats and floors, you'll have to wait longer. Honestly, the regular cabins are just fine—you can still see the view outside, so there's really not much difference!

  • If you love pearls, this place is definitely worth a visit. You can even buy pearls here for less than the usual market price.

  • Walking through the natural surroundings of the shrine, I felt like I was far away from the everyday world. No wonder Ise Jingu is called the spiritual home of the Japanese people.

  • Mount Takao is really close to Tokyo. Just take the Keio Line to the last stop, Takaosanguchi Station, and from there you can either hike up or take the cable car.

  • I've been here several times. The scenery is totally different in summer and winter, but both are really special.

  • The steam clock at the entrance is the largest one still operating in the world. Every 15 minutes, it plays a beautiful melody. It's definitely one of Otaru's highlights.

  • Walking around Osaka Castle in the morning really lifts your mood and gives you a good workout.
