The spacious grounds of Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine are filled with blooming pink cherry blossoms. I love coming here to pray. It's also a popular spot for photographers who come just to capture the cherry blossoms and views of Mt. Fuji—definitely an Instagram-worthy place!

The decor still preserves the feel of the old tea house. You can watch geishas perform and enjoy the spacious rooms. There's even a beautiful courtyard view from the private rooms.

The seafood paella here is really generous in portion. The restaurant serves Spanish bar-style dishes—I highly recommend the fideuà and other seafood rice dishes.

I really liked their soup~~ They use four kinds of dried bonito, Rishiri kelp, and shaved bonito flakes to boost the aroma of the broth—so good.

Every time I come here, I have to get their grilled-mochi-style wagashi, Izumo Zenzai Mochi. It’s also my favorite souvenir to bring back.
