Super convenient location—you can usually spot it as soon as you get off the bus, which is really helpful if it’s your first time in Otaru. The staff are pretty friendly, and basic communication in English is totally fine. If you have questions, they usually answer patiently, and they’ll even draw you a map and circle the key spots.
Inside they have maps, travel brochures, and event info. Sometimes there are small exhibits or tourist info displays too. The place is clean and bright, and there’s a spot to sit and take a break, so you can organize your plans before heading out. -
It’s really beautiful, with different scenery in every season. In spring there are cherry blossoms, and in fall the maple leaves reflected on the lake are stunning. You can also take a boat out and enjoy the views.
The water is super calm, so photos come out really atmospheric, and it just feels relaxing. If you love nature, it’s a great spot for a walk or a paddle. -
The atmosphere in the hotel is super relaxing—perfect for unwinding and taking it easy. Just step outside and you're at the beach. Taking a walk here feels great.
