[Closed Down] A Must-See in Yokohama for Male Lovers of Bishojo Anime! Capsule Hotel “Business Inn New City”

“Business Inn New City” is a male-exclusive capsule hotel with day trip bathing facilities.
It’s garnered a lot of attention as a capsule hotel with themes likes bishojo anime, ninjas, and oiran.
It features 5 types of baths and 2 types of saunas, and it also offers short-term stays.
Since I had already come out here, I stayed in their capsule with the most impactful theme.

It was built in a renovated old capsule hotel building.
The building is close to Yokohama Minato Mirai, so it’s in a great location for sightseeing.

The basement floor features Anison Café “Stars.”
Anison Café is a place where customers who love anime and anime songs (anison) can enjoy those things alongside the staff.

There were 5 cars in the garage, which charges 200 yen per hour.

You can choose from a variety of plans, like overnight stay, nap only, and bathing only.
The regular overnight stays start at around 4,080 yen. You can also sometimes find cheaper fares on certain days thanks to online booking.

I didn’t take any photos of them, but the large public baths had tatami mats and were very comfortable, almost like one in a luxury ryokan (Japanese inn).
I also liked seeing that amenities like towels and pajamas were available for free.

Incidentally, you cannot bring in outside food or drink.

The hall featured a painting of wind and thunder gods.

Amenities such as toothbrushes are available for guests.

Introducing the Various Themed Capsules!

Oiran Capsules

The capsules are all lined up in a tatami room.

Ninja Capsules

These capsules were also in a tatami room.

There were shuriken drawn on the curtains for the capsules.

There were ninjas in the capsules too!

Sengoku Capsules

These were also in a tatami room.

These capsules were very standard.

My Accommodation for the Night, Anime Capsule “Itakapu”

The character used is a popular one from Anison Café “Stars” on the basement floor!
I’m not particularly into it, but this could be really neat if you’re a fan.

The body pillows are available for anyone to use.

I thought the capsules looked pretty standard, but….

What do you know! There was a pretty girl drawn on the sheets!
Moreover, the characters are different in every capsule!

I took a picture of it along with one of the body pillows.

The capsules come equipped with a TV and outlets.

This is the premium sleeping room, which is a little bit more spacious.

All of a sudden the lockers look really cheap!

Walking Around the Building!

There are some plans that come with meals.

You can read as many of the 25,000 volumes of manga here as you’d like, but it’s also a smoking area, so I couldn’t make much use of it since I hate smoke.
Too bad!

It’s a bit expensive.

The internet corner is next to the manga room.
You can watch as much as you’d like from 400 movie titles here.

You can come and go as you please with no cost or curfew.
