Nikko Futarasan Shrine enshrines and worships Nikko Sanzan, the three sacred peaks that are the highest in the Nikko mountain range. It is also known as a shrine for a kami (god) of luck, as well as providing blessings for marriage.
The entrance to Sannai area is marked by “Shinkyo,” a beautiful red-painted wooden bridge, and the bridge is part of the shrine’s property.
