A Park with Beautiful Cherry Trees Lining the Sengawa River
Soshigaya Park is a beautiful area filled with greenery along the Sengawa River. The park is famous for its “homecoming cherry trees,” originally cherry saplings that grew from cherry trees donated to Washington by Tokyo. During springtime, the park is filled with visitors who are going cherry blossom viewing.
Other flowers, like lavender, bloom with each season, making there always something to see in the park.
The park features a large open area and a hydrophilic terrace, so visitors can enjoy nature to its fullest.
There is also play equipment, including a slide and tennis courts.
