Fukuoka Open Top Bus

The Fukuoka Open Top Bus is a double-decker, roofless bus that tours Fukuoka City's major sightseeing areas, including the Tenjin district, Hakata district, and seaside area. The bus announcer provides information on the charms of Fukuoka, seasonal information, recommended spots along the route, and other tourist information. It is also a good way to plan your days in Fukuoka by taking this tour first.

There are three courses: the Seaside Momochi Course, which takes in the seaside scenery; the Downtown Hakata Course, which takes in historical sites; and the Fukuoka Sparkling Night (Fukuoka Tower) Course, which takes in the evening and night views of Fukuoka. The tour lasts between 60 and 80 minutes, and the roofless ride gives you a wonderful open-air feeling! It is like a ride-on attraction itself, so enjoy city sightseeing while feeling the breeze.

Reservations can be made over the phone or online. If seats are available, tickets can also be purchased on the day of the tour at the door. Tickets are exchanged for boarding passes at the Fukuoka Open Top Bus ticket counter on the 1st floor of Fukuoka City Hall. Boarding begins at the ”Tenjin/Fukuoka City Hall” bus stop.
