Akiusha sits inside a renovated kominka-style house built 160 years ago. From the building itself to its traditions, culture, furnishings and more, this spot is bent on treasuring its ever-growing “vintage” feel over the years, which lends to its growing popularity as a tourist stop around Akiu Onsen.

Inside you’ll find a number of sweets and lunch items that are made with heaps of locally-sourced produce and seasonal ingredients.
