Rest House Busan
A rest house located at the exit of the mysterious Abukuma Cave.
Abukuma Cave stretches 4,218.3 m in total, with 600 m open to the public, where stalactites hang from the ceiling and stalagmites rise from the floor. Rest House Busan serves as a convenient rest stop in this place where you can see the beauty shaped by nature.
After enjoying the mysteries of nature on a walk through Abukuma Cave, you can have a meal at the second-floor restaurant, and shop for souvenirs at the first-floor gift shop.
The restaurant offers a lineup of dishes made with local ingredients. One of the signature items, “Sauce Katsu Don,” comes with a thick, filling tonkatsu placed on top of a bowl of rice for a satisfying bite. You can also enjoy unique specialties of this diner, such as “Wine Salt Ramen,” with its unusual bright-red soup, and the “Juicy Beef Menchi Katsu Don” made with Tamura City’s certified brand ingredients, “Tamura no Kiwami.”
The first-floor gift shop sells original Abukuma Cave items and Tamura City specialties. “Tamura no Kiwami” is a certification given to the very best of Tamura City’s specialty products, and every item is full of appeal. After filling up upstairs, be sure to stop by.
