AEON MALL Okinawa Rycom

Opened in 2015, this is one of the largest shopping malls in Okinawa Prefecture. The five-story complex houses around 220 shops, including fashion, lifestyle goods, gourmet food, and entertainment facilities. Based on the concept of an “Okinawa Resort Mall,” the mall is filled with attractions and events that let visitors fully experience Okinawa through shopping and dining.

At the main entrance, known as the “Arrival Gate,” a giant 2.5-meter-tall shisa statue greets visitors, setting the tone with a uniquely Okinawan flair. Another highlight is the “Rycom Aquarium,” located in the open and airy atrium on the first floor. This massive tank holds over 100 tons of water and is home to around 300 tropical fish from over 40 different species.
On the third and fourth floors, you’ll find a mezzanine-style food court with approximately 2,400 seats. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of international cuisine while taking in stunning ocean views.

Family-friendly spaces such as “Chura Pika Plaza” and “Mokuiku Hiroba” offer comfortable places for kids to play—even on rainy days or under the strong Okinawan sun. The mall also regularly hosts a variety of events, making it a place where families can enjoy a full day together.
