Last update :

This is the southernmost zoo complex in Japan with a Children's Museum on the premises.
The zoo exhibits approximately 150 species of animals, including mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles. In the zoo area, visitors can see rare creatures such as Yakushima monkeys and Ryukyu-ken (Ryukyu dogs) that inhabit the Ryukyu Archipelago, a group of islands stretching from Tanegashima and Yaku Island in Kagoshima Prefecture in the north to Yonaguni Island in Okinawa.

Wonder Museum is the first and only Children's Museum in Okinawa.
It holds a variety of exhibits that stimulate children's wisdom and sensitivity.
In addition, the park also holds many other exhibitions and projects that allow visitors to learn about Okinawa's history, culture, and nature.

Wild birds, small animals, and migratory birds also come to the nature-rich grounds.
The "Furusato-en," a restored traditional Okinawan house, is designated as a national registered cultural property and offers a glimpse into the lives of our ancestors, and there are many other attractions for children and adults to enjoy while learning.

    園區不大設施也略嫌老舊,主要門票收費很便宜,夏天天氣炎熱沒什麼地方可以躲。
