很有質感的藝術空間,氣氛安靜又舒服,展覽不只視覺美,內容也滿有深度的,會讓人想慢慢看、細細品味。整體空間設計也很有巧思,拍照很好看,很適合喜歡藝術跟設計的人去走走。

J Art Foundation
Featuring works by teamLab and Yoshitomo Nara! A new hub for contemporary art launched in 2025.
Originally opened in 2006 as the Sapporo Miyanomori Art Museum—the first contemporary art museum in Hokkaido—this institution reopened in May 2025 under the new name J Art Foundation after a seven-year closure.
In the exhibition space, converted from a former church, visitors can experience A Whole Year per Year – Proliferating Immense Life in the Ruins of a Church by teamLab, an internationally acclaimed collective known for their digital art. Surrounded by flowers that change with the seasons, this immersive installation explores themes of birth and death, blending the artwork’s world with the real one.
The courtyard features works by renowned Japanese artists such as Yoshitomo Nara, Kohei Nawa, and Shiro Matsui. The harmonious combination of contemporary art and nature here is a must-see.
Tickets are available by advance reservation for a specific date and time, with no re-entry allowed. The teamLab installation uses a timed entry system, but the courtyard artworks can be enjoyed freely until closing. Currently, only part of the museum is open, with new exhibitions expected in the future. In fiscal year 2026, the museum plans to display original works by Suehiro Maruo and a collection focused on postwar contemporary Japanese art.
