This is the only beer museum in Japan, where visitors can learn about the history of Hokkaido's pioneering days and the thoughts of those who were passionate about brewing beer in Japan.
If you want to visit the museum, we recommend joining the Premium Tour (Paid Guided Tour) with a guide. In addition to the "Premium Theater," where you can look back on the history of pioneering with 6K images, you can also see valuable exhibits such as advertising posters and beer bottles used in those days while listening to detailed explanations.
The brick buildings are also designated as a Hokkaido Heritage Site, and the red brick chimneys and giant beer boiling pot are popular photo spots.
One of the attractions of the tour is that you can enjoy tasting after the visit. Enjoy the difference in taste between the "Restored Sapporo Made Barley Wine" made at the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery and the long-time favorite "Sapporo Black Label."
