Eitaro “Nama Dorayaki”
A Japanese-Western fusion dorayaki made with fresh cream.
Founded in 1909, Eitaro is a long-established Japanese sweets shop that has been loved by locals for more than 100 years. Among its wide variety of sweets made with carefully selected ingredients and skilled craftsmanship, one of its signature products is the “Nama Dorayaki.” Fresh whipped cream and sweet bean paste made from Hokkaido-grown azuki beans are wrapped in fluffy dorayaki pancakes baked with plenty of honey.
There are five standard flavors in total: Azuki, which pairs Hokkaido-grown azuki beans with cream, Sesame, featuring the aroma of far-infrared roasted sesame paste, Rum Raisin, made with raisins soaked and aged in rum mixed into fresh cream, Chocolate, with a rich flavor and enjoyable chocolate chip texture, and Zunda, made with Sendai’s famous zunda bean paste. Seasonal limited-edition flavors such as Lemon in summer and Chestnut in autumn are also available.
Because it is a chilled dorayaki, it is especially perfect for hot summer days. It is also ideal as a gift, with single-item sets and assorted boxes available.
