This monaka is a signature product of a Sendai wagashi shop that has been committed to carefully selected ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship since its founding, offering an exquisite harmony of a crisp wafer that melts in your mouth and smooth bean paste with rich sweetness.

The wafer is made with Miyakogane glutinous rice harvested from the company's own rice fields in Miyagi Prefecture, while the bean paste uses beans from Hokkaido. The pursuit of great taste and high quality can also be seen in the use of Miyagi-grown chestnuts, Hokkaido Otebo beans, and top-grade white coarse sugar.

There are four flavors, including Dainagon, white bean paste, sesame bean paste, and chestnut bean paste. Sizes also come in four options, from bite-sized mini to small, medium, and made-to-order large, making it easy to choose the one you like best.
