因為是冬奧場地,滑起來特別有氣勢,好像自己在比賽一樣,人潮比一些熱門滑雪場少,滑起來更舒服,不太需要排隊。

Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama Ski Resort
An Olympic venue with Northern Alps views and diverse terrain.
Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama Ski Resort, located in Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture, is renowned as one of the venues of the 1998 Winter Olympics. The resort offers 20 courses in total, known for its “Platinum Powder”—exceptionally dry and light snow.
One of the most iconic trails is the Panorama Trail, offering sweeping views of the Northern Alps and the Hokushin Five Mountains. On the Olympic Trail, you can experience skiing on the same slopes where competitions once took place. Special courses are also open under certain conditions, such as the steep Yakebi Wall with a maximum incline of 39 degrees, the expansive Yakebi Valley, 111 meters wide, and the Yakebi Coast, newly opened in 2024. To meet the needs of skiers and snowboarders seeking thrills, the resort is also developing new Tree-run Trails.
The Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel is directly connected to the slopes and consists of three wings: Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel East, West, and South. Many guest rooms are designed to offer views of the slopes. At night, visitors can enjoy a relaxing stay while gazing at the illuminated slopes. At the foot of the mountain are the hot spring towns of Yudanaka Onsen and Shibu Onsen, popular for onsen-hopping.
