Aomori no Oyado Hotel Apple Land

A hot spring inn at the foot of the mountains with sweeping views over the Tsugaru Plain. Originally started by an apple wholesaler, the property is filled with apples everywhere you look. Highlights include the signature “apple bath” with floating apples, welcome apples served as fruit, and a giant apple-shaped faucet that pours out apple juice, creating a fun space that feels almost like an apple theme park. There is also an apple orchard on the grounds, where guests can enjoy apple-picking in autumn.

A wide range of guest rooms is available, from spacious traditional Japanese-style rooms to modern Japanese-style rooms with beds set on tatami flooring. From the rooms, guests can look out over the Hakkoda Mountains and the Tsugaru Plain, with seasonal scenery changing throughout the year. Meals are served buffet-style and focus on local cuisine made with ingredients from Aomori. The live kitchen, where dishes such as grilled seafood, tempura, and steak are cooked right in front of guests, is especially popular. There is also a wide selection of apple dishes, including apple desserts, chilled apple soup, and apple juice tasting.
