Located quietly behind a noren on the fourth floor of a building, this intimate, Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant is a hidden gem. Chef Hiroto Ito, who has honed his skills at various establishments both in his hometown of Nagasaki and beyond, offers course-style cuisine that brings out the natural flavors of carefully selected ingredients. Unbound by traditional conventions, he incorporates unexpected elements-such as subtle use of herbs when fitting-elevating each dish into a work of creative Japanese gastronomy. Every plate reflects inspiration drawn directly from the ingredients, resulting in playful, surprising, and deeply moving dishes.

The standard “Oryōri Course,” which focuses on fresh seafood from local Nagasaki waters and other regional ingredients, is available in two variations. Also popular is the “Sushi Course,” offered only during the third week of each month, which attracts many repeat diners who visit specifically for it.

The drink selection is curated with a focus on pairings-featuring an extensive lineup of local sake and Japanese sake, along with a diverse selection of wines centered on Japanese labels, including white, red, and sparkling. The serene interior offers both counter seating and traditional horigotatsu seating for a relaxed dining experience.
