Shikairou Chinese Restaurant

Champon is a Japanese noodle dish based on a similar dish from Fujian Province, China, the hometown of the first owner of the Shikairou Chinese Restaurant. Champon is topped with local seafood and a lot of seasonal vegetables and has been a favorite for more than a century in the Nagasaki region. It has long been a famous signature dish of the area.

The delicious flavor comes from slowly cooking the soup, making using of a fresh whole chicken and pork bones. This pure white soup with its pleasant flavorful taste goes perfectly with special thick noodles. Along with champon, another specialty is sara udon.
