A popular izakaya known for its dishes that showcase the rich bounty of Nagasaki’s mountains and seas. Guests can enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the long counter, sitting shoulder to shoulder, or gather around lively sunken kotatsu tables for a more social dining experience.

The menu centers on exceptionally fresh seafood, highlighted by the signature assorted sashimi platter. Local specialties such as Nagasaki hatoshi (deep-fried shrimp toast) and Nagasaki fried kannboko are also available, along with well-regarded whale dishes like whale bacon and saezuri (whale tongue). Classic izakaya favorites-fried chicken, rolled omelets, chilled tofu, and more-round out the offerings, making it a favorite among local regulars as well.

The drink selection is equally extensive, ranging from beer, sours, highballs, chuhai, plum wine, shochu, sake, and wine. Shochu is especially well represented, with a wide lineup of labels from across Kyushu, including Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Oita. There’s also a generous selection of local Nagasaki sake and junmai sake.
