One sweet that has been gaining attention as an easy way to enjoy this distinctly Nagoya flavor is the thick-baked sandwich cookie “Ogura An Parfait Sandwich,” inspired by an “Ogura An Parfait.”

Crispy butter cookies sandwich whipped chocolate with freeze-dried Ogura and cornflakes. With its November 2024 renewal, the cookie was changed to one made with puree from “Benihoppe,” a strawberry variety from Shizuoka Prefecture, giving it a soft pink color. The crunchy texture is fun, and it is very satisfying to eat.

With the renewal, the packaging was also completely redesigned. Set against a vivid pink background, the package featuring an Ogura An Parfait has earned a reputation for being perfect for social media. The individually wrapped packages feature the same design, and their impact and cuteness have made them very popular as souvenirs as well.
