Renovated from an 85-year-old traditional house that once served as a blacksmith shop, "natomi Inn" is a guesthouse run by two travel-loving sisters in Osecho, Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, an area that once flourished as a post town. The charm of the old house lives on throughout, from the earthen-floored space with its large beams to the engawa veranda surrounding the courtyard, making it a beloved place where guests can "stay as if they were living there."

There are three types of guest rooms. In addition to a Japanese-Western style room that makes use of earthen walls and antique fittings, there is also a dormitory-type room and a large room for up to five guests. The guest-only area is equipped with toilets, shower rooms, and a mini kitchen. In the dining room, an izakaya is open every Friday and Saturday from 5:00pm. The concept is "snacks we ourselves want to eat," created by the sisters, who love alcohol. Guests can enjoy items such as seasonal obanzai and also savor newly released sake from breweries in Nara. A Japanese breakfast is served in the morning. On Saturdays, the lunch curry is also popular, with only 20 servings available.

Approx. 1,000 manga volumes, travel books, and more are available to read as much as you like. Around a 25-minute walk away is Kankinoyu Ashiyu, a relaxing footbath spot also used by locals.
