Fukuoka Mitsukoshi is located in Tenjin, Kyushu’s largest shopping and entertainment district. Set inside Solaria Terminal Building, a station building directly connected to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, it is also linked to the underground shopping area and express bus terminal, making it an easy stop for travelers.

Inside, you’ll find a wide range of shops offering cosmetics, fashion, jewelry and watches, lifestyle goods, and more, while the B1 floor features LACHIC Fukuoka Tenjin, a collection of trend-conscious select shops. The B2 food floor includes Kayuan, which offers famous confections from across Japan, and Kitano Ace, stocked with popular grocery items from around the country, making it a great place to shop for souvenirs. A tax-free counter is also available on the same floor, so visitors from overseas can enjoy shopping smoothly. On the 9th-floor event hall, regional product fairs and art exhibitions from across Japan are held regularly, offering something fresh and fun whenever you visit.

For visitors to Japan, the MITSUKOSHI ISETAN JAPAN app, which can be used at Mitsukoshi Isetan Group stores nationwide, will be available from 2025. At Fukuoka Mitsukoshi, the app lets you check the latest brand information, event schedules, floor maps, restaurant guides, and more at a glance. By simply registering your passport and verifying your short-term stay status, you can also receive a 5% discount benefit (5% DISCOUNT). Combined with tax-free shopping discounts, this lets you enjoy shopping more affordably and more smartly. Some products and brands are not eligible for the benefit.

As of spring 2026, the entire building is being remodeled. Around fall 2027, it is scheduled to reopen as a renovated “hybrid model” store designed to improve circulation throughout the building, with the lower floors from 4F to B2 serving as department store floors and the upper floors from 5F to 9F serving as specialty store floors.
