On the first day, the Ninobori Odori Festival, designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Hiroshima Prefecture, is held. On the second day, Irohamaru YOSAKOI takes place in the downtown shopping streets and at Chuo Park. Along with dazzling yosakoi performances, food stalls line the area, and the whole city is filled with festive energy.

The finale is the Ashida River Fireworks Festival. Approx. 16,000 fireworks light up the sky, and the most spectacular is the star mine display stretching Approx. 1.4 km across the wide surface of the Ashida River.
