Shima Tamura is a long-established ryokan in Shima Onsen, Gunma Prefecture, with a history dating back to its founding in 1563 during the Muromachi period. Approximately 1,600 liters of hot spring water flow from its six private sources every minute. With open-air baths, large communal baths, cypress baths, and more, each offering a different atmosphere, guests can experience a wide variety of hot spring baths throughout the property.
