Hatoya Hotel
Relax in water from five private hot spring sources at this popular hotel on a hill overlooking Ito and the sea.
A long-established hot spring hotel on a hill overlooking Sagami Bay and the city of Ito. Its Showa-retro architecture, including an expansive lobby with chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling and a tunnel-like connecting corridor, attracts many guests from Japan and abroad.
The hotel has five private hot spring sources. In addition to a large public bath featuring a variety of tubs made with abundant Izu stone, every guest room has a bath supplied with natural hot spring water. Guests can relax in the plentiful waters of this historic hot spring, which has soothed people since the Heian period.
Dinner is served in a spacious hall and features an extensive buffet, including sushi prepared by chefs at a live cooking station. Guests can choose from several plans, including a Japanese seafood dinner centered on fresh seafood or a specially selected Japanese dinner served in a private room. The hotel also offers a wide range of facilities, including a year-round indoor pool, karaoke, and a game corner. Guests can also use the Sea Adventure spa area at the seaside sister property Hotel Sun Hatoya free of charge. Swimwear is required. (Some plans do not include access.)
