All Reviews of Sumo Wrestling Museum Kehayaza

The cheerful staff greeted us with a traditional song about the greatness of Nara prefecture. Afterwards, we were able to put on giant sumo suits and have a wresting match in an authentic sumo ring. The museum in the gallery had some interesting pictures to view the history of the museum.

It was absolutely funny and amazing! The staff is super kind and we tried to be real sumo wrestlers, really enjoyed!!

If you’ve ever wanted to see what you’d look like as a sumo wrestler, this is the place. Local sumo enthusiasts will announce your match, you can throw salt on an official size ring, and enjoy taking plenty of videos and pictures.

I enjoyed wearing the sumo suit and learning about the history of how Sumo fights were conducted.

Very fun to learn about sumo etiquette and stances. The workers were very kind and interesting. It was fun to put on the sumo outfit as well!
