Even though it was a weekday, there were still a lot of people taking the Hakone Pirate Ship. The interior is pretty luxurious, and the scenery outside the window is especially beautiful.

Being on the ship totally reminded me of Luffy from One Piece!

The weather was bad and it was freezing cold. I couldn't stay on the deck for even five minutes—almost everyone ran back inside the cabin.

It gets crowded on holidays, so it's best to upgrade your ticket for a higher class cabin. That way, you can board first and avoid the crowds.

I got lucky with the weather on this trip. It was a beautiful day!

There's a special cabin on the boat that you have to pay extra for, but honestly, I felt it was a bit of a waste. I ended up spending most of my time on the upper deck enjoying the views and taking photos.

A 10-minute cruise is just enough to get a taste of the experience. That way, you'll be left wanting more.

There are plenty of boat departures, so you don't have to wait long. If you're a One Piece anime fan, you'll be super excited!

I boarded at Hakone-machi Port and took the cruise to Togendai Port, which took about 30 minutes. You can transfer to the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani from there. Along the way, you get a great panoramic view of Lake Ashinoko.
