Stepping out of Nanukamachi Station felt like traveling back in time.

I loved the vibe of the street—quiet, lived-in, and not overly commercialized.

The mix of old and new buildings makes the whole street feel lively. This is also where Hideyo Noguchi, the famous doctor on the 1,000 yen bill, spent his youth.
