The prices are lower than back home, and the service is excellent. Best of all, they have staff who speak Chinese—so convenient!

Three years ago, I saw Federer wearing a Rolex GMT with the blue and black bezel in a magazine and was blown away. A watch-savvy friend told me to buy it ASAP since the price would only go up, but I didn't take it seriously at the time. Last year, I realized the price had gone up by 30%, and I regretted not listening to my friend...

When I traveled to Tokyo last year, I made a special trip to Nakano, the watch lover's paradise, and found the new GMT blue and black bezel with the five-link bracelet at Kame-Kichi. It was over TWD 400,000, and prices had definitely gone up. I figured you can't always get this model in Taiwan, even if you have the money, so how could I leave empty-handed? 😎 Recently, I heard a rumor that Japan is restricting foreigners from buying popular Rolex models, only allowing Japanese residents and those with residency to purchase. Not sure if that's true or not?

Compared to a few other watch shops, Kame-Kichi offers more reasonable prices. They have a good selection of Rolex, plus Omega, Cartier, and other luxury brands. The staff are friendly, and both tax-free service and payment options are convenient. It's located in Nakano, Tokyo, which is pretty easy to get to.

The vibe in the physical store is really nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hope I get to visit again and share this place with friends. Definitely worth buying from here.

I checked online and saw it was in stock, but I forgot to ask the store to hold it. When I asked, the staff told me it was already sold out. Such a shame. They said it would take three months to restock. Honestly, having so little inventory is a bit surprising.

Rolex used to be much cheaper here compared to Taiwan, but now a lot of tourists from China are buying them up. The prices for some of the more popular models have gone up and are about the same as back home.
