Chanko Dining Ami Ryogoku Main Branch

This stylish, tucked-away restaurant has an atmosphere unlike that of a typical chanko hot pot restaurant and serves chanko hot pot made according to recipes passed down directly from the Isegahama sumo stable. Its signature Yaki Chanko, featuring a whole roasted Japanese chicken flambéed tableside, is especially popular. Quantities are limited, so reservations are recommended. Several other varieties of chanko hot pot are available, including the chanko served at the Isegahama stable, Curry Chanko, and Tantan Chanko.

The taste is pretty average.
Prices are on the high side.

Kanazawa Castle & Kenrokuen Four Seasons Tale

Known as the residence of the 14th generation of the Maeda family of the Kaga Clan, "Kanazawa Castle", and the large garden "Kenrokuen" constructed in its outer citadel, are representative tourist attractions of Ishikawa and Kanazawa. Kenrokuen is famous as one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan and has been designated as a special place of scenic beauty by the national government.

Last time I visited Kenrokuen, I happened to catch the nighttime illumination event. I ended up rearranging my plans, and the garden at night, with all the lighting effects, had a totally different vibe from the daytime.
