  • There are adorable dolphin and sea lion shows, plus you can see penguins and tons of other sea creatures. The exhibits are really well-designed. Kids had a blast, and even adults found it relaxing and fun!

    You can not only admire the impressive historic ruins and beautiful natural scenery, but also learn a lot about important events from Japan's late Edo period.

  • There are lots of plants and birds here, making it a great spot for birdwatching and enjoying nature.

  • Chinatown has gates on the east, west, south, and north, all based on feng shui. There are also Mazu and Guan Yu temples, and you can find all the major Chinese cuisines here—Shanghai, Sichuan, Cantonese, and more.

  • The cave is 10.7 kilometers long, but only about 1 kilometer near the entrance is open to the public. At the end of the trail, there's a beautiful waterfall. If you get the chance, you should definitely check it out.

  • The architecture and carvings inside Toshogu Shrine are worth taking your time to appreciate. The level of detail and the value of the cultural treasures make the admission fee totally worth it.
