Furano Ski Resort
Furano Ski Resort is located just 10 minutes by car from downtown Furano in Hokkaido. It is also known as part of the “Hokkaido Powder Belt,” which boasts some of the world’s finest powder snow.
After skiing all day, I thought I wouldn't have any energy left at night, but when I saw the slopes lit up, I couldn't resist putting my ski boots back on. It's colder at night, so the snow surface is a little harder than during the day, and you feel the speed more; if your technique is solid, it's really satisfying for practicing carving, but once the snow surface gets icy, it really hurts when you fall 😭
