Hiraoka Park Plum Grove
Located in Kiyota Ward, Sapporo, Hiraoka Park is known as Hokkaido’s top plum blossom spot, with Approx. 1,200 plum trees in full bloom each spring. The plum grove in the park’s West Area spans 6.5 hectares, one of the largest in Sapporo, with Approx. 60% white plums and Approx. 40% red plums. Blooming typically runs from early May to late May, and the latest bloom updates are posted on the official website, so be sure to check before you go.
